Its possible to appreciate the presence of species representative of the basal ground together with some areas of mountain green. The forest is recovering in those agricultural areas located in unfavourable and abandoned spots.

In the extreme eastern part of the municipality lies the Anaga Natural Park. A space defined by its geomorphologic values, both botanical and of the fauna. It features the most ancient geological formations on the island as well as numerous endemic species.

In the northwestern sector, the el Pico de Los Lázaros is full of highly valued natural interests.
